It's been at least three years since I last went out on my bike. I used to do up to eighteen miles per day. Today, all of a sudden, I decided I'd like to go out on my bike. It'd be like the good old days. Cycling past fields of cows and sheep, seeing things you don't see when your driving and saying hello to fellow cyclists.
I did two miles and I'm practically walking like a giant jelly.
Climbing hills and fit people whizzing past me on the cycle path is not my idea of fun. I'll let you know how I do next time.
Hurricane Katia hit Scotland this week. Loss of power, high winds and flooding are likely. Bridges are closed, power lines are down and rubbish is flying everywhere. On coming home from work today and stopping for a cuppy at a friends, we're now staying cosy and warm indoors for the rest of the evening. I hope you are too!
